Basic Training

Initial Basic Training Curriculum for Prison Staff


Training courses under Basic Training Curriculum for Prison Personnel is underway at PPTC. Training covers theoretical and practical courses, as well as tactical and physical trainings.


While learning theoretical and practical courses on the rules of imprisonment, the participants will get familiar with national and international standards on imprisonment, peculiarities of prison system and the rules for acting in emergency situations.


The trainees will also undergo practical lessons in drafting of legal documentation, as well as in imitation cell, first medical aid, etc.


Psychological profiles of trainees are developed at the end of trainings.


The assessment of trainees is done in accordance with three-staged evaluation system which envisages attendance at the trainings, intermediate assessment and test exams.


Only successful participants will be awarded certificates. After successful practice in prisons the trainees are appointed to the position.




Initial Basic Training Curriculum for Probation System Staff


One of the priorities for PPTC is holding of training courses under Basic Training Curriculum for Probation System Personnel.


The trainees undergo theoretical and practical courses, as well as tactical and physical trainings. The participants will get familiar with national and international standards on probation, peculiarities of alternative sanctions to imprisonment, etc.


The trainees will also undergo practical lessons in drafting of various types of legal documentation.


Psychological profiles of trainees are developed at the end of trainings.


Only participants, who successfully undergo practice in probations bureaus and pass test exams, will be appointed to the position.
